May 2012 Velma's Tag Swap My Tag & a Baby Girl mini album I am currently working on

Hi Everyone...It was good to get my tags completed for the swap I have been so looking forward to. When that envelope comes in the mail it is like christmas and you can't wait to rip it open to see what is inside.

I got my tags and goodies done so now I am working on a baby girl mini album-I got a lot of ground work done now is time for all the pretty stuff to start building on the pages....although as chunky as it is already hopefully it will not grow to much more.

Wow...I wish  would have known from youtube before  starting to record my videos that they can now be longer than 15 minutes....lol!  I thought they had to be 10 minutes or less...as you can tell I need a bit more practice on making the videos and uploading them....lol!

I will make a new video on the finished album as soon as Ican get it completed...See you all soon!

Hugs, Jen

Finally Getting Settled...

Hi Everyone...It has been a while since I have posted or did much at all on the computer.  The move from California to Ohio went pretty smooth.  We took 5 1/2 days to drive and did a mini driving vacation.  I will have to say that the little ones did great for that long trip I can not make any complaints.  We have decided to rent...I found an ad in the classifieds for a small ranch home but in a beautiful location.  We are in the a little village called Wayne Lakes.  The house sits on a lane with us and another home but I wake up to birds singing and see squirrels running in the yard.  Beautiful trees, landscaping, creeks and lakes surround this little village.  We live outside of town but is only 5 to six miles out so very small commute.  The area is quite and the kids have a little front and back yard to be able to run and play in as well as the community has a swim/lake area., playgrounds, fishing and a gatehouse with a small convience/bait/beer and pizza place.  My hubby had been born and raised in the Bay Area for 50 years and is now a small town boy where I came from and loving it...he gets a transition time with the drive home instead of that Califronia commute traffic.  I still have some unpacking to do and I have to get my scrapping supplies from my Mom's where we stayed briefly.  I can not wait to get my most important area set up...LOL!  I am ready to work on my scrapbooking and again revisiting my first love of painting...  I love finding old pieces of furniture and items to refinish and then do some decorative painting on them.

Warm Regards,
Jen
